Hotel Description

Guests are accommodated in individually decorated double rooms and twin rooms or in garden cottages. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with heating, a television set, a telephone, a desk and a small fridge to make your visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. You are invited to make the most of the lodge, and spend time in the beautifully decorated guest lounge and common areas, as well as the lovely garden, around the barbecue and in the outdoor kitchen. Recreational facilities include a pool and a table-tennis table.

Our young and enthusiastic team is always on hand to make your stay with us as pleasant and comfortable as possible. With their dependable local knowledge of Johannesburg, Midrand, Pretoria and surrounding areas, the team will happily assist you with bookings for safaris, local activities and events, and will help you plan your onward journey and accommodation elsewhere in Southern Africa.

African Footprints Lodge is a one hectare garden oasis, in the heart of commercially booming Midrand. We have an extensive range of facilities to be enjoyed, both for those feeling active and for those wanting to relax. Our newly refurbished garden cottages offer a great place to unwind, whether it be after a day at the office or a day of sightseeing. In contrast, our main house, where the bar and guest lounge are located, has a more upbeat vibe.
